Single Decal Luftwaffe M40 Combat Helmet
Category:
£1,100.00
Good original helmets that are not messed with are becoming increasingly difficult to find at the right price. This is a super un-molested example the overall is in mint condition, apart from the bad application of the decal when it went for re-furb. There are a couple bits missing from the decal, and that's where is was badly applied from trhe factory. This usually happens to SE re-furbs. I can't make out the maker on the shell but the lot Nr is 374
Size is approx 57 with a 64 shell with a super intact liner with virtually no wear. Original drawstring and a nicely marked 1940 chin strap makes this example very affordable. If the decal had been complete, this would be a £1700 Helmet!!
I have priced this very competitively in today's market. So please don't make silly offers - find one in the same condition cheaper, and I'll match it!!
