Deutsche Reichsbahn -Trolly Bus/ Postal -Aluminium Eagle

Here's one that you make your own mind up with. There are NO guarantees with this one.

When ""Kassel" fair was ongoing in Germany. I attended on a regular basis. I approached a dealer I knew - who usually sold original Items. He had 3 of these on his stall. He had obtained them from an old factory, which were found in the basement I bought all 3 and have sold all but one - they were - I was told - unfinished examples. I am not trying to catch anyone, and I have had 100% no issue original that was sold 10 years back for 1k

**There was one in the states that sold recently for $3200. **

The exact measurements are ....15 3/4" - which is 40cm wingspan and 10" - 25.5cm high. The detail is there, but it is the colour you need to make your mind up with -

*I was in direct contact with Wilhelm Saris - the one that wrote the book on them I was told that it probably is ok - but it is a hard call if it was cast from an original it would be smaller bare, and bare in mind these were originally cast hand finished and then polished.

The dull colour of the eagle can be attributed to the fact that it was never put into service. This was discovered in a basement in Germany, and therefore has never been in a collection before. It has the threaded holes for fixing, but no bolts or nuts
