M40 Re-Issue Wehrmacht Combat Helmet

This is a lovely re- issue helmet with a 100% Methner und Burger decal. The shell shows overall great patina from being worn, this has not been sitting in a barrack room cupboard. The surface shows chips and flakes you would expect to see, and the shell is stamped NS for Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, Schwerte and 64 for the shell size clear lot number to the rear. All rivets are tight and un disturbed covered with the same paint from the re-issue factory The liner is soft and supple, there is a nice “wear” pattern at the front, and what could be blood stains to the rear, There is an original drawstring present and an original chinstrap full length that is unmarked. I’m not one of these guys that take off chinstraps and drawstrings to maximise the sale. I’ve had this one for a long time, and now it’s time to move it on. Look around at prices and you will see that if you want the best – you have to pay for the best!
