Luftwaffe Buckle with Brown Leather Belt

A Standard tabbed steel blue Luftwaffe Buckle with about 60% of paint that remains. The brown leather tab is marked for Herman Aulrich and the date of 1941. The belt is an interesting one. It has the indented lines top and bottom and is Brown – although the colour appears to be a very dark brown I think its because it has become dirty over the 80 years of its life. Inside the belt under the tongue has black felt lie material for protection. This could be a parade belt that has been mismatched to a mid-war buckle or its been together always – either way it is a good display piece
