Herman Meyer Luftwaffe Tropical Field Visor cap

The cap band has been reinforced by celluloid, none of which is visible, and can be felt and heard between the layers of fabric. Each side of the cap presents two eyelets for ventilation all of which are rust-free. This example has no chinstrap or neck flap, but retains two of the buttons for attaching a neck flap.
The eagle and cockade are both in excellent condition and remain securely hand-stitched to the cap. The overall condition of this cap is very good, with no stains and stitching remaining in good condition. These caps are highly scarce and desirable in today’s market, and would display very well.
