Personal album which was given as a present to Kapitänleutnant Johannes-Martin Döpner (Doepner) in 1944/45. 

Doepner was born on 2.1.1915 and a member of Crew 33. Doepner was awarded the German Cross in gold on 9.9.1943. He was promoted to a Korvettenkapitän on 1.1.1945. Doepner Died  on 24.4.11.

There is a strong possiblity of a U-Boot connection to Döpner . If you enter his name into google you will find a connection with Reinhard Hardegen.

All pages are hand-written and painted. An incredible work of art! Very good condition, and something that is unique!!!!
