A beautiful example of a privately tailored 4 pocket NCO walking out tunic. visually it is quite exceptional, having all insignia originally sewn, and two lines of tress to the bottom of each of the sleeves
It has White piped Waffenfarbe sew in shoulder boards for Infantry, and the number 34 with two pips denoting the rank of “Oberfeldwebel” All closure buttons are marked and match, The front of the tunic has a white waffenfarbe piping along the front binding.
A single ward Loop to the left breast pocket, and a medal ribbon bar above the left breast pocket. The Adler has been sewn to the left hand side, and it is original to the tunic. There are no moth tracks or holes anywhere. It comes with a white collar marked and dated. Inside is lined with artificial silk, and striped “silk” inside lining on the sleeves, each of the 2 internal hanging loops are marked with the Tailor.
Dagger hanger loop on the inside is also attached. This tunic had been in collection for over 50 years. It has not been messed with or tampered with. It is, without doubt, one of the nicest tunics we have ever had the pleasure of owning.
