A pair of late war shoulder boards. Lemon yellow signals waffenfarbe piped onto Field-grey wool, some of which has been zig-zag machine stitched together to reduce wasted fabric. A scrap of olive green silk has been used used as a strip of lining due to late-war fabric shortages. These are in fine condition, and a great example of German wartime economy measures.
