This is a well filled out Flying Log Book for a pilot in the RFC -Royal Flying Corps – The forerunner of the RAF. There are a Lot of entries covering about 10 pages – but training flights only. He flew a number of training flights and had them all signed off by the OC of 7 Regt.
There is one particular amusing entry that simply states “engine missing” I think it was in relation to a misfire – not the engine dropping out
It comes together with the 1916 publication of Technical Notes which shows good clear schematic diagrams of different Aircraft. The book has a few tears but nothing major. The Flight book does not suffer from damage.
Interestingly there is a 2nd Lt Walter C.K. Dewar RFC from Waverly Road Glasgow Listed on the MIC Who was “struck off strength 2-3-18 Western Front - copies are available online. I am not asking a fortune for this piece of history that is over 100 years old!
