A very rare survivor of a sought after NSDAP Armband, Constructed of cotton, and a lovely 3 piece swastika sewn to the middle. A single silver tress sewn through the centre, and a period stamp to the inside. A stunning addition to your political collection – stamp reads “SA der NSDAP, Standarte 3, Oberbayern.” There was a Standarte No. 3 in Augsburg
Originally created as a mid-level title in 1930 (initially called Zellenwart), the operational title of Zellenleiter shifted over time. By 1939, the Nazi party overhauled its system so that Zellenleiter became a functional position rather than a standalone rank. Individuals acting as cell leaders held standard paramilitary ranks (such as Bereitschaftsleiter or Einsatzleiter) and wore a distinctive armband to signify their positional authority
