Kriegsmarine auxiliary cruiser badge by Bacqueville, Paris. Zink construction with soldered on set up. Unmarked, typical French Bacqueville production in good condition. Very little finish but No repairs, no damage.

The Bacqueville theme has been discussed plenty of times. It's unknown whether any of these badges were ever awarded but it is known that American GI's returned home with these badges after the war. It's very possible that these badges were made in France as souvenirs to supply the US demand for bringbacks.

Altough this is a textbook "Bacqueville" example and not a cast fake from it, we can not give our guarantee on these pieces.
