16th Company Pioneers Presentation table flag

A very unique and striking table banner consisting of two oversized shoulder straps embroidered with regimental number and the names of the Soldiers “Fahnenjunker” from 1936 and 1937. The first (1936) is a rounded end “strap” with embroidered “I.R. 16 to the front and Fahnenjunker” with12 names, and the date 1936 at the bottom, NCO tress around the borders, Minor moth damage to one spot approx. 1/2 inch, small section of wire sticking out at one side. The strap measures approximately 12 & 3/4 inches in height. The second (1937) features a pointed end with braided edge, the banner embroidered “Die Fahnenjunker” with 8 names and the date 1937. Measures 13 &1/2 inches height, minor staining appears to be from tape applied to one edge. Fitted to a turned wood post with turned base and silver plaque engraved “Unserm U-Feldwebel Habedank,” Which roughly translated means “Thanks to our Sargent The underside of the base is stamped with the manufacturers name. Pole height 20 1/2 inches. There is an accompanying book – A4 size and typed is for the Regt 16 10th Company – and is the “Dienstplan and The “Ausbildungsplan” The Roster & Training plan!!! included in the sale but no photos - sorry
