Product Information
Good unworn condition These are often referred to as “Late War” Armbands – from the information I have found – I remain unconvinced .
Jo Rivett has shown that these printed armbands are not late war, but very early items shown in a period catalogue.
The regulations prohibiting printed armbands are clear but the early catalogue shows them offered prior to the regulation against printed armbands being put in place.I have found a number of price-lists from 1934/1935. for SA. The printed armbands were offered for example as “Ganz Gedruckt” from J.F. Rieleder KG Posamentenfabrik, Heilbronn or Koblenzefahnenfabrik Bangert u. Hertwig from Koblenz. In my opinion the printed armbands are noted to be early products
Narrow Printed Party Armband was to be worn on the lower left sleeve of civilian clothing. “Cloth Insignia of the NSDAP and SA” by John R. Angolia, page 95
For whatever the reason – they do make excellent display items These Partei-Bereitschaft armbands are very hard to find
