Absolutely stunning example of an M43 Army cap. The condition is excellent plus and will not be bettered for the price.

There is very minimal wear to the cap overall, and shows lightly worn  material with machine stitched factory application of the insignia.  To the left side has been hand sewn an Edelweiss signifying the wearer to be a member of Mountain troops. A nice added bonus is the name tag sewn to the inside. The internal material is twill, indicating an early production – later ones had rayon and were RB numbered It’s  a great size at 57.

This cap is correct in every detail, from the bias material under the front scallop to the ear warmer loops under the flap on the sides. These caps are very sought after and have become difficult to find in original condition.
