A very striking and well constructed Trumpet Banner for the DJ. Constructed of period cotton Black on one side, with a single white rune, surrounded on 3 sides by a thick cotton fringe. 3 ties at the top, for securing to a trumpet, of course, what makes this one extremely special is the workmanship for the town of Eupen on the reverse, with it’s striking red cross of St George, on a yellow background, with the wavy straight edges’s.

The photos should be enough for the potential buyer to judge, but should you need extra photos – please ask. I am fortunate to have a picker on the continent who turns up these items. 1000% period item, does not glow and passes the black light…………..

The town of Eupen has had quite a checkered past, being “ruled” by different states since its inception in 1250. The coat of arms displayed on the reverse of this banner dates from the early 30′s, as this was the only time that it was devoid of a castle on the top – or a Prussian Eagle.

Eupen was within the borders of  Germany, and eventually given back to Belgium on 11 September 1944.

It  is now a city and municipality in the Belgian province of Liège, 15 kilometres from the German border Aachen,
