It is a die struck, alloy badge with multi-coloured enamel work. The pin depicts a red pebbled swastika on a white backing that is encircled by: “D.V.G. Westmark (Lothr.) on a solid black backing.

 The D.V.G. Deutscher Volks Genossen Bund -German Fellow-Countrymen League- This was an organization of ethnic Germans from the Alsace-Lorraine region of France who sought unification with Germany. They copied the NSDAP membership badge but reversed the colours – slight damage to the enamel face
