A textbook example of an S&L Flak badge. A very mint example having a dark finish to the badge. Pin and catch working fine. A very worthy addtion to any collection

Instituted for the Army on 18/07/1941; awarded on a points-based system for detecting, destroying  or aiding in the destruction of an enemy aircraft. Because of the very small numbers of Army Flak units, this badge is much scarcer than its Luftwaffe counterpart.
