Possibly a shield made by Wilhelm Deumer, although I can’t be certain, but some traits attribute this one to that maker, noticeably the slightly slanted “2”  A uniform removed example, that shows lovely wear on the high spots, having been worn – I would imagine – with extreme pride. A totally 100% original shield
