If anything could be described as “top shelf” this is it. A truly stunning single decal  Army helmet by Quist. This maker is known for their superior manufacture with heavy gauge steel.

The decal is so nicely toned golden, one could mistake this as a KM helmet, but it is Army, without doubt. The finish is a true factory finish, having a dull green overpaint, followed by the decal application. One small ding in the decal, but as honest as the day is long!.

A fantastic “blond” liner, complete with a brown leather chin strap, that has one small part of the end missing. Pins are tight and un messed with and a good amount of dust and dirt is between the liner and the lid. A few scratch marks across the top, but you will not find a better helmet anywhere for the price!

This has been in a “top” collection for many years, originally posted from the USA where it was vet acquired, and for substantially more than it is now, but that’s just the story, a fantastic opportunity to own one of the best M40’s around.
