This is an original 1930’s/40’s silver cigarette case with a lovely engine turned pattern to the edges – This inside retains all of the gilt finish. The edge of the opening clip is marked with the “ Alpacca Hoko” stamp and an SS Rune to the centre – Under a microscope the engraving is done very well, so it is impossible to say if it is period or not – my own personal feeling is that it is a wartime engraving – but this is being sold as a nice silver cigarette case
