Product Information
This is a large rare corner patch sewn to a flag for the NS organization “HAGO” it measures approximately 34cms by 23cms (14 inches x 9 inches)
A very high class piece of embroidered fabric in fantastic condition, and is a one off piece – Most definitely hand done, it has chained stitched lettering NS HAGO Ortsgruppe and Immendorf with the HAGO symbol to the centre – This is a small town on the border of Holland and Germany, the edging has Gold coloured braid and is a light grey colour soft fabric – Honestly – I cannot find another – anywhere!!
NS-HAGO was the
Nationalsozialistischer Kampfbund für den Gewerblichen Mittelstand
National Socialist Fighting Alliance for the Commercial Middle Class
It was a union for the industrial middle class, promoting small-scale and self-employed trade and craftsmen businesses. It was first founded in December of 1932 and renamed twice, to NS-HAGO in August of 1933.. It was placed under DAF supervision in 1934 and, never being officially dissolved, slowly faded into obscurity.
