Iconic wall hanger or buildings hanger of a finely detailed eagle with spread out wing, and talons holding a cantered swastika surrounded by oak leaves.

This is a fantastic piece of 3^rd Reich art. Forget your train eagles. This is much better looking and much rarer than any of those.

It measures from wingtip to wingtip and respectable 36cm and its height from head to bottom of wreath 24cm. It is magnetic – so it is steel or steel composite and it is nicely proportioned and would make an absolute stunning backdrop.

It has suffered the ravages of time over the years with some of the silver paint being chipped or flaked off in places. But that just adds to its charm. See the photos to see exactly what you will be getting.

This is a seldom encountered piece and is dated to around 1930 where the design of these eagles were still in its infancy. Maker marked J. Kaiser and Co., Uckermunde. The other side of the wing is stamped with the letters “Alleinhersteller”, meaning sole manufacturer. and has a good strong wired hook to take the weight of this heavy beast.
