The cap actually came with the tunic in another listing we have. But I decided to split as I couldn’t guarantee it was to the same man

Light cotton standard construction in white. Size is approx. 55/56 with the standard KM eagle and cockade to the front. The full length cap tally reads “Unterseeboots Schule” – which is U Boat School! The tally is full length.

The inside has no leather band and is strengthened  – it does not look like it ever has had anything inside

On 5th September 1939 it was ordered that a generic “Kriegsmarine” Cap tally was to be replaced on all caps
