I rarely list camo helmets as they are sometimes difficult to prove – however every once in a while one comes along and needs no explaining. This helmet and the other 2 helmets were bought from the same collector and I know he has had them for over 20 years – He only collected top shelf examples –

This is one of them – Without doubt a “one looker” and a true camo helmet. M42 single decal with about 80% of the decal still intact. Nice dark green dabs – lightly brushed – all over the helmet – just to break up the shape – after all that’s what camouflage is all about. This is a totally Unmessed with helmet where the pins match the helmet and are tight within the band. Size is approx. 56/57 The leather tongues in a few places have either come away and been re – attached or are hanging on for grim death. And these parts are dry and fragile. Named on the inside – it doesn’t get any better –  A lovely period chin strap completes the look of this true wartime camo helmet.
