This has just come in and was bought at the right price, it is probably one of the best investment around at the moment- a true unmolested and original helmet. There is a thick covering of paint over the entire helmet and gives off a hue of a green/blue colour. The type of colour that was widely used on the Atlantic wall. The decal has been removed and a shadow of where it once was can be seen

 A quist size 64 helmet stamped to the rear skirt along with the lot number. This would be a welcome addition to any collection – Nicely fitted liner with good wear points to the edges. An original drawstring and it is named! There is no chinstrap with this – remembering that helmets were not issued with straps when issued – they were purchased and fitted and base level.
