An original  Police double decal M35 – Apple Green Helmet. The shell is an ET one, and a size 60. This helmet, I would presume is one of the many “small sized” helmets that was ordered for the Wehrmacht in the early stages – taken out of storage – and re-issued to the Police. There are decals underneath the police ones, and although the police eagle has been very carefully placed over the Army eagle, the party shield has slightly slipped to one side revealing the tri colour. The helmet benefits from an early brown chinstrap with the aluminium buckle and a clear dome stamp to the inside centre of the crown.  The leather is complete and supple with original drawstring

All pins are tight, and the early alloy liner band has no damage, and is tight to the helmet shell.. This is a stunning combat helmet in hand, and I hope the photos do it justice, although the liner is size 53, it does not distract from its character as  it’s not as if you’re going to wear it.
