Occasionally something comes up that just has to be bought at any cost. This particular helmet has been languishing in a high end collection for years. So technically speaking it’s quite fresh to the market. It has some much character to it, I am reluctant to sell it, but sell it I must.

An SE (Sächsische Emaillier ) 64 shell with a 57 liner, complete with draw string and early chinstrap, Leather is soft and quite supple with a lovely golden colour. The helmet shell is painted factory “Apple Green” with a lot of finish still on it. The Army decal is a typical SE decal, which has toned a nice golden colour over the years. The tri colour, has been painted over, as per regulations BUT it is peeping through the covering, and is just as you would want to see it. Rivets are the early rivets, and tight. This is an un messed with combat helmet, that for the money, is the best around on today’s market
