The Luftwaffe Officer’s cape was expensive and an ‘extra’ wardrobe accessory which many Luftwaffe officer’s chose not to purchase. It was mainly worn for full dress occasions with the formal uniform .

This  Bullion eagle is in fantastic condition and would have been sewn onto the arm of the cape. It has an impressive 7 inch wingspan with fabulous detail, it is nicely toned on a blue wool background. An exquisite item that is both rare, and a piece of art.
