RE-LISTED due to buyer not completing – again I will offer this absolutely stunning jacket in excellent, lightly used condition!

Not one rip tear or moth bite, all insignia is period sew, The Süd Schwaben Gaudreieck, (regional triangle) is a more desirable example, not rare but not too common. All the correct BDM buttons are present HJ/BDM Membership badge is correctly positioned above the left breast pocket. It has had an RZM label, but this has sadly been removed, as was the “cherry on the cake” item that was discovered in the top right breast pocket

Inside the pocket was a handmade chain stitched tag that reads KLV – JTAL and the shadow where it was originally handstitched can clearly be seen just below the size label (44)

About 9,000 Kinderlandverschickung (KLV)  camps were established during the allied bombing raids on cities in areas of the Reich. KLV Lagers were for evacuating children to a safe place during this time

 

KLV – JTAL was for Johanstal which was located just outside Berlin. There are period pictures of these labels, and period photos of the Kinderlandverschickungs
