Period HJ side plate with transfer print of a typical HJ scene at the time. Maker marked on the rear for Schwarzen hammer Bavaria. The mark is typical for the period Used between 1905 and around 1923.The transfer to the centre is slightly worn, but the edges show bright colours. There is a small chip to the rim, under the front part, so it does not show. These plates are ultra rare, as many did not survive. The plate is approx 7 1/2″ in diameter.Ex Philip Baker Collection.
