Absolutely stunning early mint set. The bayonet has early Bakelite grips undamaged – with the fittings being a lovely dark blued colour . 2 clear waffenampt stamps adorn the top of the pommel Both the blade and the scabbard have the same numbers being 4195 with “s” under to the reverse is the date of manufacture “41” for 1941 and fnj for the maker which is Alexander Coppel GmbH Solingen. – Alcoso. The blade has the same deep blueing as the rest of the unit, and is undamaged. The scabbard matches the bayonet in colour and has a lovely patina with no dents or scratches. Complete with a beautiful leather frog which is dated 1940. This is probably one of the best we have had – and likely to get
