I was fortunate some time ago to purchase a complete collection of a number of musical instruments from a long time collection in France. This and the HJ listed on the latest update, are the only ones I have left, but, as they say, leave the best, to last!

This one is mega rare, double sided single sig rune devoid of any labels BUT, the edges are trimmed with black and white border, and the 4 ties at the top are also twisted black/white cord. The trumpet is in “E” flat, so is correct for the period, sadly one of the cross bars has come away, and one is missing

In pristine condition, with the correct construction, mounted on a nickel (much rarer than the brass ones) it looks fantastic, I have seen trumpets, and banners up for sale, but never like the two I am listing. I don’t think that they are over-priced. I am not making a fortune on them, but you will not find another. These early banners do not come onto the market very often, and when they do, the prices they command are mouthwatering. I will quite happily keep this item if it doesn’t sell
