A very nice example of a scarce “Afrika” side cap. It has blue soutache denoting Transport & supply. Hand stitched Adler to the front and nicely stitched piping, along with a hand stitched afrika roundel.

 Good clear stamping on the inside for the maker Lago – Berlin and a size 55 A complete haul of these “Afrika side caps” were discovered a few years ago, completely un- issued. Most of them were Panzer with a few signals thrown in. and were nearly always Clements Wagner – This is NOT one of those caps. It is far rarer to find a true Afrika cap in transport & supply
