That seems a very brash statement, but I can tell you that you I have never seen an M42 this good before!

In all my years of collecting and dealing, I rarely come across items this good. Yes I paid very good money for it, and with collecting condition is everything. The decal is silvered with 100% remaining. The paint and interior is 99.9%

Simply put, you would be hard pressed to upgrade this helmet. I am thinking of keeping this one myself. The price is firm. I don’t care if it stays forever, it is that nice. Size – 57 chinstrap original and mint, liner – name penned into the rim – 2 different ones. And a dome stamp!!

 Possibly used as a parade helmet definitely not combat.

Some people will baulk at the price. When you consider that DD apple greens are going for 2.5k and SS ones – 12-15k. A “mint” example of an M42 for under half of those? It’s a no brainer!
