As Marine coastal caps go – this is one of the best we have come across – totally original and un-messed with.

Some very good wear indicators under the nape – original sewn insignia with “blind stitching” to the top (as it should be) Factory applied roundel and Named! As a really nice touch – to make the cap fit, the wearer has sewn the top together – a common practice which we have seen many times before

The makers mark and date of 1940 can clearly be seen – Size 55 . A truly untouched cap
