This is a large sized – 58- Re-issue combat helmet with a thick Feld Grau over-paint. The tri-colour has been removed as per field instructions. And the decal has been painted over – The outline and small traces of silver content can been seen quite clearly. The paint is so thick it has covered the maker and the lot number but the pins have not been touched and it has the correct re-issue liner in it. The chinstrap is unmarked but 100% authentic. This is a combat helmet that has plenty of character and has the –  “been there – done it” look.

Helmets of this calibre and quality are getting scares and hard to prise from the avid collector. These are never going to reduce in price. A wise investment
