This really is a superb M35 helmet combat with at least 99% of the Adler remaining. It has a lovely “golden tone” to it. This helmet has been over painted with some thick vehicle “green” paint and the owner has carefully painted around the edges of the eagle. It appears to have had the tri colour removed and then painted over – as I cannot see any traces or outline of a previous decal. It has an aluminium liner with all pins being tight to the band. The chin strap has been shortened on the end only. A great size for display with the 57 size liner – sitting on a size 64 shell by Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke, Schwerte – NS64 – The liner has wear around the rime having been worn and carries some sweat stains. A truly fantastic opportunity to own an iconic symbol of the 3^rd Reich – If you collect helmets you will know exactly what I mean when I say “find another ” !!
