An absolute top shelf 33 SA dagger, rated 9/10 on the Mcsaar scale – A cottage industry maker producing less than 1000 units in its entirety!

The blade is marked for the producer “Louper” and Flamme. Inside a circle. 

Solid Hardwood handle that hasn’t been messed with, virtually no creases or dings in the wood – All nickel silver cross guards and Adler. SA roundel is tight The nut has not been tampered with * I have not had it apart – nor will I*

There are no gaps between the cross guards and handle – so very little shrinkage. Gruppe marked on the lower cross guard No for Nordsee.

There is no gap between the lower guard and top scabbard, and is a beautiful fit. The scabbard has lost a little of its annodising, but this is perfectly acceptable. No screws are loose, not have they been tampered with. Complete with a nice short leather hanger. The bottom ball, as usual has a small dent to it

The blade has not been re-tipped or sharpened, and retains a lot of cross graining, and is a real joy to look at. At the tip – on the photos – are some light grease marks – which I would imagine has been in the scabbard for a very long time because of its dirty colour.

This is a fantastic 1933 pattern SA dagger – that was made with precision
