A lovely well presented “issued” Schirmmütze piped in light green for mountain troops. The cap has a good shape to it, The placement of the plastic chin cord has part of it going under the wreath, and it has turned up a little through time – which is a nice touch , Only a slight moth nip to the back piping (very minute). The Reichsadler is fashioned in aluminium with the edelweiss placed between the cockade and eagle. The waffenfarbe  piping is Hellgrün (light green) Used by the Gebirgsjäger – Mountain Troops 

The crown lining has a clear celluloid sweat diamond intact with “Meister Klasse” and the G.A.Hoffmann” logo. The interior of the cap also has a wide, light brown ersatz sweatband that is torn but complete. A good original sought after cap; at a truly affordable price
