A beautiful and stunning cased Non portable award for Ice skating March 1940 – The award is set into a lush blue velvet – and where most of the medal is a matt colour, the highlighted parts in “gold” really set it apart. It measures about 4 inches across – so it is quite a large award – but although it isn’t for shooting or anything to do with soldiering – it is without doubt a stunning looking Ice skating award. Inset are the words Zur Erinnerung Grosser Preis Der Reichshauptstadt Im Eiskunstlaufen März 1940.   Roughly translated =  To commemorate the Grand Prix capital of the skating capital March 1940
