I have been fortunate to secure another “batch” of truly amazing “one off” combat helmets. These that I am listing have been in a collection for over 35 years. And have not seen the light of day with anyone else. I did pay a premium for them, as there are plenty of run of the mill lids, but very few “one lookers”. 

This example is a real “one looker” a re-issued M35, with thick green over paint brushed on. It has had decals, and I can’t quite make my mind up if there are decals underneath or the paint makes it look like there are decals.

Update 2nd Oct…I have been reliably informed by a “high end” helmet collector, that there ARE decals underneath

The liner pins are tight, and look to be period replaced, and the chinstrap is 1938 dated. Size is 55 BUT the top has had a sticky label (like a thick plaster material) stuck over the top, and an addressee in Tennessee USA. Sent by Capt Robert Temple service number 34727459  With some research this would be easy to trace back down the line. I have not done this I will leave some fun for the buyer.
