This cap is in excellent condition and would be hard to upgrade. Sought after white piping for Kreis level marred only by the cockade having been split by the oak leaf, and has been repaired but it is hardly noticeable. The cockades are easy to get, but I was/am reluctant to touch it.

The twill material is near perfect and there are no moth nips or tears. The lining is complete, and the size label 57 can be seen. There is also a lovely RZM label attached. This hardly needs a description, and the photos are good enough to make a call on it.

A very rare level cap, and a fantastic condition addition to anyone’s collection

Not a cheap item, but again find a comparable one for sale for the same price seen on some sites for in excess of $1500
