A *mint* (and I really do mean mint) Pre RZM HJ Dienstmutze tan cotton twill construction field visor cap. This lovely cap is in Un-issued condition! Absolutely amazing how it has survived this long, locked away in some German cupboard, but it is fresh to the market, never before in a collection.

Piped in dark blue, most would say “medical” but the HJ structure was slightly different, and the colours denoted the Bann area. This “cornflower Blue” denotes Oberbann 4.

The crown inside is of the correct golden “twill” material, and the oil cloth sweat band has a few minor creases. No RZM label, as this is a very early one, possibly a 1929-30 manufacture. An early eagle with 2 prongs top and bottom, and no HJ pin, it has never had one. Single stitching around the peak (always a sign to look for), and the price/size label to the rear. Nice padding to the front, but a wonderful cap, one that would grace any HJ collection. These are hard enough to come across used, but a mint one? Find another
