Nice example of an Iron cross 1st class in its box. The flocking is in very clean condition with a subtle colour change outline present in the insert. The cross retains 100% black paint coverage, with the silver-washed frame remaining in unpolished condition. The cross pin is marked 26 for Mayer, with a functional pin, hinge and catch.
